At Canaria Technologies, we strongly believe in the privacy of personal information. That’s why we treat any data that relates to an identified or identifiable individual or that is linked or linkable to them by Canaria as “personal data”, no matter where the individual lives.

The Privacy Policy covers how Canaria handles personal data whether you interact with us on our websites, through Canaria Apps, or in person with our physical products. Canaria’s Privacy Policy does not apply to how third parties define personal data or how they use it.

 

Personal Information Canaria Collects

 

We strive to collect only the information needed for our services to be effective. The personal data Canaria collects depends on how you interact with Canaria. All Sensitive Data is encrypted in the database meaning we only expose the data in the App based on permissions restricted by roles. We collect data such as gender, height, weight, DOB and address. This information is what will make up your user profile. Our safety devices collect a range of body function features such as body temp, heart rate, cognition, heat stress and breath rate. Collecting this information allows our device to accurately predict heat stress and cognitive fatigue.

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and how you interact with the Site.
 

The main way Canaria collects device information is through the use of “cookies”.

    systems, including by helping us detect any errors.
